Sunday Brunch Wedding in Louisville, Kentucky

What a wonderful day! And the couple, Shelby and Alex, certainly deserved it. This wedding plan/venue was their plan C. After switching their plans three times, I can’t imagine a more perfect day and I think Plan C was the best plan all along.

They ended up having the cutest brunch wedding just outside of Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by around 30 guests — their family and closest friends. The venue was at an airbnb and had a lovely backyard wedding feel to it. Brunch weddings are my new favorite! Besides having to wake up early to get your hair and makeup done, I can’t think of a reason not to. Mornings feel fresh and new. You can have a coffee bar. Mimosas. Breakfast food. All your photos get to be in natural light — instead of toasts & dancing being in the dark.

Shelby and Alex have the most delightful energy and I truly hope that shines through the photos.

Another reason the day went so wonderfully — Alex and Shelby hired a great team of vendors. I can’t say enough good things about each of them!
